This would mean this Universe is the mortal realm with a finite lifespan

mortal realm
A cosmological model in which the Universe is finite, and will eventually recollapse. The density of this Universe is more than the critical density. The closed universe if it is sufficiently dense, and therefore possesses enough gravitational force to stop or reverse the expansion started by the big bang.
