The way of the L-I-Z being as herself is to be quiet and calm and considered to such an extent that she towers in a room. A person once said “why are you in Wicklow?” and she shrugged her shoulders and made a meh sound. A person once said “what's the point of studying physics?” She replied “I just adore it.” A person once said to her “how many hours a week do you spend in the library?” and she replied “zero”. She was prone to studying by reading textbooks and papers online at home because they are more advanced than the syllabus books available in the library and she gets to do so in the comfort of home.
A person once said to her “when will we know our results?”and she said “when they put them online, keep checking.” A person once asked her “how well did you do in our exams?” and she told the truth. It was impressive but not a perfect score so she was disappointed, then Mark cheered her up by saying “that's exactly the same as Victor!” who was at the time the Maths Society Auditor.
The way to be at a graduation when she was going to a debutant ball the same day involved running through the quad in her dress and shouting out words of greetings to everyone there that she knew. A man once said to her “do you have a pencil?”and ssh replied “17, but I need them all for drawing”. One time a man asked her “where are you off to dressed like that?” as she was wearing all designer, she replied “to the physics study room”.
A man once told her how to do calculus more advanced than her level and she understood it but thought it flawed. Years later she was able to express the flaw in her Eureka period.
